online-json.com is a free collection of JSON tools for developers, testers, data analysts and students. It started as a simple online JSON formatter and validator, and has grown into a toolbox for the jobs that come up every day when you work with APIs, configuration files and data exports.

How we build the tools
Private by default. Every tool runs in your browser. The data you paste is processed on your own device and is never uploaded, unless you choose to create a share link or send us feedback. The Privacy Policy has the details.
Free, with no sign-up. There are no accounts, no usage limits and no watermarks.
Accurate. The tools follow the published standards, such as RFC 8259 for JSON, RFC 4180 for CSV, YAML 1.2 and RFC 6902 for JSON Patch, and rely on well-tested open-source libraries including jsoneditor, PapaParse, js-yaml, jsonrepair and jsondiffpatch.
Pleasant to use. Keyboard shortcuts, drag and drop, a dark mode, coding fonts and editor themes, and layouts that work on a phone as well as a desktop.
